Pros

the team is very smart + cutting edge consumer technology solving problems at global scale the CTO is very smart and was part of the group behind bringing chaos engineering to Netflix tech is built around architecture of micro service / distributed system / kubernetes. challenge with ML and other systems is delivering high throughput, global distributed scale and near real-time performance. challenging but very interesting problems are what I solve each day. rokt tends to promote faster than most other tech businesses I have worked at + lots of investment in training and development growing super fast salary is at the upper end of the market + stock plan is generous

Cons

very selective and the recruiting process is long / could be better coordinated turnover especially amongst leaders as Rokt is tough on performance and behaviours rapid growth means a lot of processes are catching up with the business

Pros

Rokt is the kind of place where you can grow fast if you're willing to put in the work. I've built my way up to senior leadership over my time here, that kind of trajectory doesn't happen without real investment from the company in its people. The work is genuinely complex and interesting: you're sitting at the intersection of technology, commercial strategy, and some of the biggest brands in the world. The caliber of teammates has been consistently high, and the culture pushes you to think bigger and challenge yourself. There's also a real emphasis on building leaders from within, which I've benefited from directly and tried to pay forward with my own team.

Cons

Fast growth means things move quickly and priorities can shift. If you need a lot of structure or predictability, it can feel like a lot. Ambiguity is part of the job, and not everyone thrives in that environment.
