Pros

-Worked with very nice people -I got to learn a lot about Rolls-Royce, their products, aviation, and all the manufacturing and testing involved

Cons

-I really wanted to like Rolls, but I left disappointed and I don't think I'd come back. I've done multiple internships, and this was the most disappointing. -The description of the role given to me during my interview was nothing at all like the actual role. Even allowing for some glossing over to make the position sound good, it was way off. -Rolls seems to staff a lot of positions, both internships and full time engineering roles, with engineers - but the roles aren't very technical and leave you wondering why they don't hire less technical majors. For example, the finance intern I talked to was a mechanical engineering student. Hard not to feel like they are more concerned with filling roles than making sure the role is a good fit.
