Pros

- discount - can listen to head phones while in stockroom

Cons

- unreasonable expectations in the stockroom, with regards to the speed things need to be done. - terrible pay - 7.25 an hour - can only receive a raise during reviews, which are normaly held during the month of June. - raises are very minimal. anywhere from 10 cents to 15 cents. - strick dress code for terrible pay. - can't where jackets during winter months in the stockroom unless they're blue. - Ross can change the schedule during the work week after it's already printed. (On christmas eve the whole stock team was told that they'd have to come in on the day after christmas despite everyone having been scheduled off. This was very irritating because I had made holiday plans to be out of town having seen that I had Christmas Eve, Xmas, and the day after off.)

Pros

All of my coworkers were wonderful. No high school drama. Boss was flexible and understanding, although he always liked it if you said you could work more hours. The employee discount is pretty awesome. The work wasn't bad and rude customers were rare.

Cons

There was pressure to come in even when you were sick. Pay wasn't the greatest; it usually stayed ahead of minimum wage, but by no means kept up with inflation. Visits from corporate often meant a new change in procedures that had been working and demands that were somewhat unreasonable given the constraints of the layout or number of employees available.
