Coporate cares more about saving every penny and money then employees and as a result, it passes down heavily on everything. The turnaround for new employees is pretty high. I almost see a new employee every other month and a person quitting everymonth. As a result, when your short staffed and you do well, the leads still have to work as hard as newer hires. I close alone every night because they don't get enough staff.
Leads don't get health benefits right away when they become one and Ive been working for over a year. They always ask me for a doctors note without health insurance.
You are raised only by .25 cents.
Shipping is never on time, and no matter what, coporate likes to put off the blame on them and instead puts it on the people at the store. So like when we are out, we are out of stuff for several weeks. You would expect to ship more when a store is the top 10 store.
If the staff doesn't work on restocking, you end up restocking all the plushies, and boxes, which the way its setup especially cranes, you will end up restocking 5-10 heavy boxes at 3 am in the morning.
