Pros

Exciting idea. Dogs in the office. Hardworking employees.

Cons

If you are an established professional, this is not the place to be--as evidenced by the fact that many excellent hires who are manager or director level get fed up and leave within six months. Despite the previous review (which I doubt is authentic), Rover is not only top-heavy, but leadership is an Ivy League clique that does not seem to be able to figure out what they're doing, or establish any sort of disciplined processes. The expertise of the mid-level is ignored, and they are scapegoated for the failings of leadership, while those same executives cut themselves endless slack. There is also no social aspect to working here; not a place you will make friends with your coworkers unless you're on the chronically stressed customer service team. And despite the fast-growth startup environment, many folks leave due to lack of career opportunity.

Pros

Great platform, profile covers all the important points

Cons

Very limited inbound requests, would have expected more in a high density area for dog ownership

Pros

Good work-life balance, collaborative engineering culture, dogs, two-sided marketplace is an interesting product to work on, forward-thinking about AI tools.

Cons

As the overwhelming market leader in the space (RIP Wag!), there is maybe some complacency.
