      Pros

      • Coworkers are always willing to help and encourage. • Fairly young office so can be fun, and opportunities to be a lead or PM earlier than in bigger companies. • Get experience with different controls systems and customers.

      Cons

      • Staffing is crazy. Resources tend to be either way under- or way over-utilized. • Work on weekends or night shift for some startups. I’ve also seen some overnighters. • Travel can be for long periods of time (sometimes multiple months). • Pressure to get the most work out of your hours possible. • Need more senior engineers to help distribute the load.

      Pros

      Good compensation at least for the Cleveland area. Great people and interesting work. The one thing Rovisys had in spades was a good friendly culture. You get to learn a lot of you are willing, and the technical experience I gained here has helped me immensely.

      Cons

      Work ethic wasn't always there depending on who you were staffed with on projects. I was fortunate to have good managers, but not everyone I started with was as fortunate. There was also a lot of travel at least for the controls engineers.
