The company has a problem retaining experienced engineers, which leads to inefficiencies. This problem is compounded by being the last contractor on site in every job, so the client wants our work completed in half the original time. Middle management is not empowered to tell a client no or stand firm on schedule, so engineers end up working extreme hours to make up the difference.
