For those reading these reviews deciding whether to work here as a FT employee, you need to completely disregard all reviews left by therapists and NPs. They are contractors/partners and that network is kept completely separate from employees. They are a type of customer of Rula and there are entire Success teams catering to them to ensure that those therapists/NPs rate Rula highly. The feedback showing here on GD is combining contractors/partners and employees to equal overall ratings which means contractors are vastly over inflating the number. If you average only the employee ratings (aka those who actually work for the company), Rula would likely rate sub-3 stars overall with a dismal recommendation for the CEO. It wouldn’t have even gotten a second look from me had that been made clear. I’ll echo the concerns of other reviewers and reiterate that this organization has fallen off a cliff over the past year and a half. They’ve already said all of it better than I could have.

Pros

Autonomy in leading and facilitating clients. Response and follow up when needed is prompt and direct, I feel heard when I reach out, with a real person communicating with me. Will assist in finding clients. Rula manages all insurance and monetary components. Flexible scheduling that is 100 percent my schedule. I just have to show up with my skills and heart, the way it should be. 95 percent is 100 percent client centered, with minimal documentation required.

Cons

Logging in can be difficult and slow at times. Measurements they require clients to complete are a nuisance (reported by my clients). The assistance provided for note and documentation can be unreliable at times.

Pros

Freedom and autonomy to do telehealth all around the state of South Carolina. I am also applying to be licensed in North Carolina as well. I really like Rula because there is variety and if it’s not a good fit for you as the therapist or for you as the patient, they will put you with someone else in a timely fashion. They’re constantly looking for different ways to improve the services that they provide, and I like that because it shows initiative and the desire to grow even more.

Cons

So far, I haven’t found any.
