Pros

Good place to work. The management values the work that the employees do (they are not treated as just another number, like many municipal jobs treat employees). Opportunities for advancement are provided, or accomodated for.

Cons

Inconsistency in uniforms, and regularly changes styles, brands, and logos.

Pros

Straightforward with their expectations of you leading up and going into the academy.

Cons

There is no room for error. If you’re not in good physical condition and think you’ll improve while in the academy you’re wrong. You need to already be in good shape or they will run you ragged for it. It’s either you’re ready or you’re not and if you’re not then they will make it as miserable as possible to test you and either you quit or they fire you.
