Pros
Big university (also a BIG TEN UNIVERSITY), various majors/subjects, many resources from different resource centers and faculties and stuff; Student Research Assistant Salary is relatively higher than similar universities in the same area. Good location to downtown New Brunswick and neighbor to New York City. Football is a big thing here. Very good employee benefits, probably the best in NJ.
Cons
On-campus living expense is expensive. Some department have too many politics and are not put employee or student as their service priority. Many good faculties are leaving to better universities causing the interruption on graduate student's work and study.
