The RSGUM and RSG Accounting departments are not for top performers. If you are looking to grow your knowledge, be challenged, and grow professionally, an accounting role at RSGUM or RSG is not for you.
The RSGUM and RSG Accounting departments are for people who never want challenging work. You will be given many tasks that are easy to accomplish, and you will quickly get bored. Passion for your work and working to improve processes is stifled at every turn and you will be told to put your ideas aside and focus simply on the easy tasks given.
Development is about opportunities to expand skillsets and translate those skills into new opportunities. RSGUM and RSG will not provide you any development opportunities. RSGUM and RSG Accounting leadership also show no appreciation for your work. After 6 months, you will be turned off as you come to realize RSGUM and RSG Accounting leadership doesn't ever say hello to you or talk to you directly. RSGUM and RSG Accounting leadership will not show any appreciation for your work.
If you are a top performer prepare yourself well. RSGUM and RSG Accounting departments are very frustrating for a top performer because you will consistently be given extra work because co-workers weren’t able to complete it and are never held accountable for completeness or accuracy.
The RSGUM and RSG Accounting departments take employees, especially top talent, for granted. I would highly recommend you avoid joining the RSGUM or RSG Accounting department. Do yourself and your career a favor and choose a different company to grow and advance your skillsets.
