Pros

Ryder System provides opportunities for employees to broader their knowledge and gain experience in different accounts with different platforms and app.

Cons

Once you learn one account, management then will cross train you on a different account, adding more work for the same pay. "While Ryder Systems values the opportunity for employees to grow and learn with new accounts, there's room for improvement regarding annual raises. An increase above 3% annually, along with more recognition for our hard work, would greatly enhance the employees experience.

Pros

You get to work on real supply chain problems that actually matter to operations, not just theoretical stuff. Remote flexibility is solid and the work-life balance is fair. The tech stack is modern (Snowflake, Azure, Power BI) and if you're someone who takes initiative, you'll get the chance to own things end-to-end. The people you work with day-to-day are genuinely good and most teams have a collaborative culture.

Cons

Growth from senior level and beyond can be painfully slow even when you're clearly doing the work above your role. Leadership and org changes happen often which resets your visibility and momentum with whoever is advocating for you. Some areas still lack clear ownership so things fall through the cracks or land on whoever is willing to pick them up. Pay doesn't always reflect the scope of what you're actually doing.
