Pros

Can't really think of one right now except it's a steady paycheck

Cons

Work life balance. Micro management in service department to the extent morale sucks. Severely understaffed in the service department. No passion. Everyone has worked there for so long and afraid to challenge the status quo. "That's just the way it has always been" mentality. No one willing to change to improve. Talks about being around for 80 years like customers care. No vision of future except CNG which is not the future. Not customer focused, more stock holder focused.

Pros

Great hours, I have an awesome OS and OM. I was salary exempt so if I worked over 40 hours I was paid hourly after that. I was also paid weekly which was extremely nice.

Cons

No relocation assistance for in-state promotions.

Pros

You get to work on real supply chain problems that actually matter to operations, not just theoretical stuff. Remote flexibility is solid and the work-life balance is fair. The tech stack is modern (Snowflake, Azure, Power BI) and if you're someone who takes initiative, you'll get the chance to own things end-to-end. The people you work with day-to-day are genuinely good and most teams have a collaborative culture.

Cons

Growth from senior level and beyond can be painfully slow even when you're clearly doing the work above your role. Leadership and org changes happen often which resets your visibility and momentum with whoever is advocating for you. Some areas still lack clear ownership so things fall through the cracks or land on whoever is willing to pick them up. Pay doesn't always reflect the scope of what you're actually doing.
