Work basically never stops. In 2008 they were hiring and busy while everyone else was doing lay-offs. Depending on the crew you're on you can get 40 to 72 hrs a week. You will travel a lot.

Cons

We work in the sewers. It can get really dirty and stinky. You will travel a lot.
