Pros

great benefits package. good place to get a lot of podcast and soul searching in.

Cons

They exploit their technicians for every cent they can get, and boy do they pay as little cents as they can. They are severely underpaying their staff and it shows in staff morale. The only thing enticing people to work for them is the benefits package. Base pay is not competitive with competing companies, nor with the cost of living in Austin. If you want your ideas ignored and to be treated like a drone, then this is the place for you. If you want to feel like your on the outside of a 'good ol' boy's club' then partner, giddy on up over here. God forbid you ask for some time off to visit family or take sick time. if you plan on getting sick, be sure to work double OT to make up for it. Give me a break. negative atmosphere does not foster employee loyalty nor innovation. I put in a two weeks notice out of common courtesy, fully expecting and willing to work those next two weeks until my next job started. Did I get those two weeks? Nope, they sent me packing day of. I had no idea I was even being let go until half way through the day. It makes me not want to give any kind of notice next time. Looking to climb the corporate ladder? Be sure to kiss up as much as possible and say yes, sir. poorly managed and too many project managers.

Pros

Variety of projects and latest technology and software.

Cons

Equity investor ownership means all that matters is profits. Negotiate the highest salary possible. Be wary of offer that includes a bonus as investors and senior leaders get their bonuses before anyone else. Offices in other states and regions frequently go into neighboring states and regions to get their sales. Runs more like a bunch of individual companies than one cohesive unit.
