Pros

Great benefits, culture promotes work/life balance esp. for those with families. Training is top-notch and is encouraged by management. Given latitude to perform your job without much interference from management. It is what you make it however; must be proactive to be recognized.

Cons

Full of cliques; esp between those employees that have been there more than 10 years. Leadership training for management team is lacking; has not evolved with the growth of the company. Opportunities for advancement can be hindered if you are not an insider. If you are a regional employee based away from Cary the perks of being a SAS employee are diminished.

Pros

Great co-workers and healthy environment. Benefits are amazing. Demands are reasonable.

Cons

I think this is true for many places right now but post-COVID campus has become mostly remote work. You have to organize with your team when you want to have face-to-face interactions.

Pros

Benefits: health coverage, on-site gym, childcare, healthcare center, and more. Work-life balance: predictable hours, flexibility for parents and a culture that doesn't expect you to grind 60-hour weeks.

Cons

Compensation lags the market, slow career advancement and promotions can take years. Change-resistant culture and new ideas move slowly. Leadership team manages up to just one person.
