Pros

SAS is a leading analytics software company, known for its advanced analytics platforms, data management, risk management, anti-fraud and marketing analytics #martech solutions, which means you'll be working with some of the latest technologies in the field. SAS often invests in its employees by providing ongoing training and development opportunities, which can help you enhance your skills and advance your career but if you are in a sales post away from headquarters and especially if you are in the middle east, these development opportunities diminish very fast! Many employees praise the company culture at SAS, which encourages teamwork, open communication, a lot of knowledge sharing amongst international offices and that's true. Competitive benefits package: SAS typically offers competitive benefits, including health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off. Reputable and established company: SAS has been in the industry for decades, which provides a sense of stability and prestige for employees. Global presence: With offices around the world, SAS offers opportunities to work on international projects and collaborate with diverse teams. Focus on customer success: SAS is known for its commitment to customer success, which can be rewarding for employees who enjoy helping clients achieve their goals. Keep in mind that individual experiences may vary,

Cons

You'll find yourself in discussions related to some innovative technologies but not that cutting-edge unfortunately! FAANG and similar (MSFT, CRM, PLTR) are better and more agile in innovation matters, processes, management and innovation related compensation! Away from headquarters and Europe, in middle east you'll miss a healthy work-life balance. And the compensation is not that great. Turnover is huge... You should negotiate for one, pick either work-life balance or better compensation. And even if you negotiate for hard work and good compensation it can erode really fast because these guys don't understand inflationary pressures, management is extremely slow in reacting to financial disruptions, like Fx volatilities , over %20-%50-%80 inflation rates...

Pros

Benefits: health coverage, on-site gym, childcare, healthcare center, and more. Work-life balance: predictable hours, flexibility for parents and a culture that doesn't expect you to grind 60-hour weeks.

Cons

Compensation lags the market, slow career advancement and promotions can take years. Change-resistant culture and new ideas move slowly. Leadership team manages up to just one person.
