Pros

The hiring process was beyond easy.

Cons

No benefits...All retail merchandisers are considered "part-time". It doesn't matter if you work 20 or 40 hours a week, you're still part time which means you're not eligible for benefits, paid vacation time off, or holiday pay Leads/trainers & managers don't "lead, train or manage", however they do enjoy talking sh*t about anyone and everyone with each other. They're very condescending, rude and there are 3 that I know of personally that enjoy humiliating employees. They definitely have their favorites and will treat them well, everyone else gets their nasty attitudes and intimidating disposition. They're very unprofessional and are a terrible representation of the company to their customers! The higher-ups asked everyone on a few occasions if they were willing to take on any extra days (normal week is M-Th, 8pm-6 am)as there was a need for it. Every time I I put in my request for the extra days and was never scheduled. You can never get a straight/informative answer from a supervisor about anything, usually the answer is...I don't know (and there's no effort to find out the answer). I could go on and on, nut there isn't enough room to list all of the negative experiences I've had with this company in the 7 months that I've been working for them.

Pros

• You work Mon-Thurs. Weekends are always free • You’re entitled to two breaks, a 30 minute unpaid break and a 15 minute paid break.

Cons

• This job will destroy your body. Lifting, kneeling, squatting all day for minimum wage is not sustainable. Nobody should have to work so hard for breadcrumbs in return. • Management will try to rush you to get the project done, which increases your risk of injury and products falling/breaking open • The hours are vary wildly depending on the project assigned. Sometimes you work 4-5 hours, sometimes closer to 9-10. Don’t bother making an appointment on your work day, because you probably won’t make it • Gas reimbursement is a joke, about a couple of dollars, and will not cover the full expense of your travel • Step stools can be hard to come by. You may have to stand on a milk crate. Cross your fingers that it doesn’t break
