Pros

Summers off, holidays, benefits, and all the things you would expect as a full-time school employee.

Cons

Micromanagement, too many bosses, administration need to be moved every three years before they start favoring their favorites, especially look at the lower performing inner-city schools like the one I work out. Admin maker break your experience at a school. Have more support for your new teachers but the thrive three-year program is a drain. It’s not helpful to put more work on the teachers, the teachers need more support. You would keep more staff if you would learn how to support your teachers instead of having to have a thrive training for three years to mentor new teachers who often times quit anyway due to the strain of all the extra emails, paperwork, multiple bosses, multiple different things told to do each day outside of regular teaching, and nepotism. I think there’s a lot of discrimination shown to people who aren’t the dominant ethnic group in this school system. That’s been my experience and I’m looking for a job in another district because of it !

Pros

The animals of course. Variety

Cons

Management is toxic. Plays favorites. Coworkers are even worse and are so fake.
