Pros
The Chiswick office is on a nice business park, in the UK the in-office and medical/dental/etc perks are good, benefits pretty good too. The people are great, so many lovely hard-working competent people in the UK and worldwide, trying SO hard to do their jobs well, to satisfy the customers and to keep the fun culture alive. If you get a good manager, things can be flexible, too.
Cons
Permanently understaffed, overdriven and underpaid, permanently overpromising and underdelivering (or non-delivering) to both customers and employees. Anything seen as not immediately profitable will be cut - all QA and documentation unbudgeted, internal training not just unbudgeted and ignored, but actively disallowed. Ancient tech stack, cobbled-together solutions stuck together with duct tape just barely functioning. Whole teams simply reassigned overnight to shore up other failing areas, as everyone is seen as just interchangeable headcount. Random redundancies happen secretively and constantly. In 2020, reassurance that jobs were safe from CORVID-19 and all was well came days before layoffs, furloughs, mandatory salary reductions (same hours) and complete office closures... numbers still undisclosed. Used to be a good place to work, but hasn't been for years now.
