I have been a Full time employee working here for 3 years. SLK is a service based company and mostly has Banking clients of US which are regional banks. The company offers a great work life balance and encouragement if we show interest in our work. Work would be on moderate if not advanced technologies and very good for beginners. The company is located in North Bangalore which is a less traffic area and can live close by to the company.
Cons
The HR is not well organized enough so that it can rapidly come into action to address concerns of dissatisfied employees.The pay is not according to market standards.Worst thing is we have to fight to prove that we've worked hard enough during appraisals.Lateral hires are offered better than in house employees..Stupid !! The senior management does not recognize the hard work leading to bad performance categories and bad pay. Onsite opportunity is offered to least skilled people leaving out the talented ones.The appraisals are yearly and are delayed even by a month or two every financial year.People who resign during this appraisal period are not respected for their work and there appraisals are cut off. Talented guys shouldn't work here as they will not have satisfaction.
