Pros

SMC3 has a comprehensive onboarding process that is tailored to the specific department of any new employee, which makes the first few weeks productive and effective at providing a strong foundation for future work. There is strong effort towards sociable introductions to the team and company as a whole. This company has a large breadth of products to learn about, and the pace of learning is understood to be variable with each employee.

Cons

Understandably, some of the training focus can drop off after the first few months of employment as well as during the busiest parts of the year. It would be beneficial to have in place longer term training schedules to help continue the initial momentum of training.

Thank you so much for the feedback. We are always striving to ensure our employees are getting the necessary training and development throughout their onboarding process and careers. Unfortunately, there are times due to scheduling that company focus on training might seem less than ideal, but that is why we offer several avenues of learning, including self-paced opportunities. Pros

Great benefits, stellar staff, competitive pay, beautiful facilities, remote work/hybrid, great technology, tons of employee perks

Cons

You have to be disciplined - the pace and demands can overwhelm you. Not for the faint of heart or lazy. Some oddly strict policies from legacy leaders and mindsets that haven't relaxed (dress codes, butt in seat time, etc.)
