Pros
Good stepping stone. Turnover is high so people who want to get into the industry have a way in. Loads to learn about working there regarding the medical device industry, sterilisation, testing, quality and regulatory affairs, etc.
Cons
Awful management practices up and down the ladder across many departments and sites. Employees are not treated well in terms of honest feedback and assessments, salary, recognition, communication on plans for the site or even their own roles, and in other areas. Many unhappy workers.
