Pros
Overall, my experience here was positive. This is a great place to learn the trade if you have little or no experience. Work environment was positive (at least in my department). The only drawback was pay. My family had taken financial hits the last couple years (along with the rapid rise of inflation), So, when I got an offer to make substantially more than I was making here, it was the only logical decision to make in my situation. With the maximum annual raise being capped at a fixed percentage with an already lower than average market salary, it just wasn't competitive to what some other places are willing to pay for talent. I will admit that it was hard leaving people that I've had good relationships with and everything I've helped build while being here. In the future, and under very specific circumstances, I may entertain the idea of being back. Overall, it's a great place to work and learn, just don't expect top market pay.
Cons
Pay could be better. I was not paid what previous people were getting paid when they held the same title in years prior (given the rapid rate of inflation, this stings a lot).
