Avoid at all costs!!! - Anonymous STV Employee Review

STV tolerates sexual harassment, verbal harassment, racism, ageism, nepotism, cronyism, and worst of all - incompetence. This place is the most inefficient, unnecessarily bureaucratic, antiquated, classless, and soul-crushing company I have ever worked for. Management is dishonest, cheap, shady, and filled with hubris. This is a less than mediocre A/E firm that wants YOU TO BE less than mediocre. If you try to be anything better, you will be miserable there. They will use and abuse you, all the while promising raises and/or promotions so you will stay - but you will never get them, unless you quit and then they will counter to get you to stay. They will not support you when you have trouble with your projects and colleagues (which you will), nor will they help you with your career goals. Listen carefully: this company does not care about you and they will string you along so you can help get what they need done and then you don't matter a lick. Whatever they are offering you is not worth ruining your sanity. Seriously. Listen. If you decide to accept a job at STV - at some point you will think back to this review and say to yourself... "I should have listened!"
