Pros
Got to know a couple of good people by chance, that’s about it. One of them has left.
Cons
Before joining, I’d never seen projects being managed in such chaos. They asked front desk people to review construction submittals, they assigned electrical or structural related work to mechanical people. Project finance was always a myth, at least 30-40% of project budget got sucked into some no-one-knows-why-them type of sub contractors without any work being done. Upper managers steal or grab without a notice other people’s credit. Lies and liars are everywhere. Cheating, power play, dog fights… All people who joined the office in the same week as me already left. Employee turnover is unbelievably high. This company also creates a ton of traps and hoaxes in their benefits package, which even suck away your own money sitting in your benefits account after you leave. The worst, they never make it clear to you. Oh, 401 (k), forget about it if you join the firm in some unfortunate months, but the recruiter (called talent acquisition manager) won’t tell you a word about that. Too many lies or misleading statements to list here. I’m glad I left.
