Pros
Working at Saab Sensis, you really get a feeling that the company cares about its employees. Engineering companies are notoriously poor at striking a good work life balance, and Sensis is no exception. However, they have initiatives that show they are listening to employees and committed to improving. Working hours here are very flexible which shows a lot of trust between managers and employees. In my personal experience, vacation time is honored - there is no expectation of "working vacations". I enjoy working with my colleagues - there are definitely a lot of great people in the company. Finally, Saab Sensis has had some rough times, but are now growing and on an upward trajectory; the foreseeable future for this company looks bright.
Cons
Like with any bigger company (compared to the sub-100 employee companies I've worked at prior), making decisions/getting a response/change can be frustratingly slow at times. The company uses some outdated technologies, though not necessarily due to a fault of their own; they have some constraints on them due to the nature of their business and customers. It can feel a little overwhelming to start working at Sensis due to how much there is to learn, and it doesn't help that the on-boarding training is lacking. If you are willing to ask however, people are generally very approachable and helpful.
