Pros
Sensis had many talented and dedicated employees. The best of them sometimes took on great technical challenges and did well to overcome them. Parts of the company ran well, especially when good managers were in place. If you were pro-active, you could find interesting work to do.
Cons
Limited opportunity for growth in a stable environment, especially in recent years as Saab struggles financially. The company used to be forward-thinking, too. But it recently took on an entirely different tact to remain competitive in a tight market. Fewer and fewer of the bright, experienced engineers continue to work there as years roll on. In fact, some of Sensis' thought leaders are now silent these days because Saab is putting a lot of pressure on the company to succeed financially, and some there is some fear that fighting the changes could lead to their own demise.
