Pros

Of all the GDS companies, Sabre was the most advanced and had the best strategy for future positioning. Sabre invested in booking companies to compliment that strategy versus just living off travel agency generated bookings.

Cons

Sabre sometimes would roll out products that may not have been vetted by the customers who would use them. Few cons. Large company with many egos to deal with or avoid. Not unique to Sabre.

Pros

Friendly coworkers and managers Good PTO Hybrid work schedule

Cons

Frequent layoffs Unreasonable work expectations No upward movement Low pay vs market Some departments don’t abide by hybrid expectations, so your team may be there 9-5 three days per week while another team shows up once or twice a week for only a few hours. Overly focused on AI while the stock still underperforms.
