Pros

Frequent free lunches, Occasional free dinners, Opportunity to learn new skills

Cons

Even before the COVID19 disaster, Sabre had a rich history of regular layoffs. What I’m describing is not “trimming the fat”. Rather, top performers get laid off to meet budget requirements. Keep reading reviews on this site and others – Sabre has consistently laid off employees for years and years. What’s the impact to the company? They completely fail to acknowledge those still employed after a round of layoffs are affected as well. Employees have to do the same work with fewer people. Their friends are suddenly unemployed. SME’s are no longer around – products suffer. Tribal knowledge is king at Sabre; it's used to leverage continued employment. Sabre has publicly claimed their commitment to people and culture, but their actions don’t match their words. Even the HR group is a revolving door. I’ll bet the average tenure of the HR group is less than 3 years employed by Sabre. If you want to wake up without a job one day unexpectedly, Sabre is right for you.
