Pros
You'll get to work on any part of the tech stack that interests you here. At larger companies, sometimes only upper-level engineers/managers get to touch things like devops, etc., but that's not the case at SafeLease. Mid-level engineers are empowered to own projects, features, etc. Rather, a fast-paced work environment lends itself to frequent new things to work on. I've gotten many times more comparative years of experience here than a huge corporation. Snacks/coffee are top-tier and hybrid work is available if you want to take advantage of it. The company picks up lunch on Fridays for some nice team bonding. Best culture of any company that I've worked at.
Cons
There were/are/will be growing pains as any successful company grows. We've faced both technical and non-technical growing pains, as most *successful* companies do. Change/growth is uncomfortable and sometimes I think there could be more intentionality in facing it head on, but I am happy to face the growth (good) problems rather than the bad problems.
