Pros

SafeLease fosters a highly collaborative environment where teamwork thrives. The supportive culture genuinely helps you build and advance your career. There’s a strong sense of camaraderie that makes work enjoyable, and as you gain tenure, it’s easy to pursue your interests and take on leadership roles, which adds to the rewarding experience.

Cons

As a startup, SafeLease lacks structure at times, which can feel chaotic. Many employees are spread thin, juggling multiple responsibilities, which can be challenging.

Pros

Free breakfast on Monday and lunch on Friday. Friendly colleagues. Health insurance, 401K and standard benefits.

Cons

Toxic work environment where upper management, especially the CEO, routinely belittles employees in front of others. Turnover is very high, and unless you’re in Sales or on the Program/IT team, expect to be required in-office full-time for months before being allowed just one remote day per week. Sales works fully remote, while Program/IT are allowed to work from home on Tues and Thurs. The company hides behind the label of a “start-up” as an excuse for disorganization and blurring the line for respecting an employees’ time or work-life balance. Overall, the culture is extremely dysfunctional, unhealthy and toxic. There’s an unusual fixation on earning a “compliment” from the CEO. If that’s your career aspiration, this might be the perfect place for you.
