Pros

The mission sounds meaningful, but the execution is corrupt.

Cons

This organization fosters one of the most toxic and demoralizing work environments I’ve ever experienced. The culture is driven by fear, gossip, and constant micromanagement. Leadership frequently speaks about promoting openness and communication, but the reality feels closed-off, unapproachable, and inconsistent. There’s a noticeable lack of transparency, accountability, and fairness across departments. The workplace operates like a clique rather than a professional team. Gossip, exclusion, and judgment are common, creating a hostile environment where employees feel constantly monitored and criticized. Those who aren’t part of the inner circle often face unreasonable scrutiny, excessive workloads, and blame for issues outside of their control. Work expectations are unrealistic and poorly balanced. Employees are often required to manage others’ responsibilities, train new hires, and meet strict deadlines—all while attending numerous mandatory meetings that take time away from actual job duties. Despite these structural inefficiencies, leadership continues to question productivity and output. Work-life balance is virtually nonexistent, as many employees report ongoing stress even outside of work hours due to unclear expectations and unstable systems. While the company’s mission to serve the DD community appears meaningful on the surface, internal priorities seem more focused on financial outcomes than genuine care or ethical practices. Reports of poor communication regarding payroll, benefits, and bonuses have been frequent, and changes to compensation or employment status sometimes occur with little notice or explanation. Employee morale is extremely low, turnover is high, and burnout is widespread. Many talented professionals have left feeling exhausted, undervalued, and disillusioned. If you’re seeking a workplace that values integrity, respect, and employee well-being, this is likely not the right fit.
