Pros
They would hire you on the spot. I got hired at a job fair they had in the store and then I was coming in to work as a courtesy clerk for a while when I was in Art School but they wanted to hire me into Floral instead where I had no experience whatsoever in that field.
Cons
When I got that position I did not receive any training and had no clue about the plants. They lied after working a week in Floral and said they were cutting hours in Floral and put me on the front end for a week for 17 hours all shifts until midnight. Next thing I knew I checked the schedule and I was not on there and had to come in and talk to the manager myself and they said I didn't make the grade in Floral so they had to let me go. It was because I had no knowledge about plants in order to help the customers. They said they could offer me a position in the front end but I never heard back , filed for unemployment and had to start my job search again. It was enough to shake me up since I was never fired from a job prior to that.
