Pros

I have Learned a lot ! Helpful coworkers regularly; They would accept the usual faults of a newcomer at work. Good customers!

Cons

Rather annoyingly fast paced and heavy workload some weeks They might not call you if you have a shift although they change the schedule several times occasionally. So they consider it your fault and an off day. Another thing happens to me was that I asked for changing a day (not off day) but the manager told me there is no other day so I had to take an off day instead. then after 3 month they fired me saying that you had two days off in a week. Unfortunately it seemed to me they don't like rescheduling when it is requested by the staff.

Pros

Nothing at all, only work at Safeway if you're about to be literally homeless

Cons

Genuinely hellish work environment. Management is lazy and absent, customers are the most disrespectful and clueless I have ever encountered. Complete unrealistic labor allocation and expectations. As a PIC, I have to run 9 SCO robots, unlock cases for customers, perform transactions at Customer Service, answer external phone calls, and move freight. Customers rightly get frustrated at the complete lack of care by corporate, and take it out on employees. Management in the morning all skip out on the evening management early every single day, a luxury the closing staff are not allowed.
