Safeway, not the best place to shop, but an even worse place to work - Vice President Safeway Employee Review

Surprisingly poor leadership and top down oriented culture - do as leadership does, or else, don't do and certainly don't voice. Very male dominated, white shirt and tie culture. Lacking fairly rudimentary business best practices. Highly political and not merit based at all. Nearly shocking culture of mediocrity. Safeway is the antithesis of google in so many ways.
