Pros

Excellent benefits and opportunities .. I feel looked after here

Cons

Non technical middle management layers in engineering lengthening reporting chains and diluting progress. We are not agile, we have no scrum masters. We have no one visibly owning a methodology or a culture and the two are linked. Engineers are a little lost and unhappy, key people are leaving and we cannot find people to fill these roles which is madness in the current climate. The way we work is out of date and the right people don’t want to stay.

Pros

Some of the people are genuinely rockstars in their crafts. The insurance is top notch and PTO is generous.

Cons

Company culture and morale are awful. The salaries are low, policies are dated and not equitable, product and internal tech is dated. Rapid changes due to poor leadership and frequent turnover. Leadership does not seem to possess the ability to pivot once decisions have been made, even if the decision was the wrong one. Company personality is archaic and as far away from forward-thinking as possible.
