Pros
Although the bad outweighs the good the best thing is the people you are in a crew with, it’s not hard to talk to people about life and you build a pretty good bond with them
Cons
False advertising a glorified warehouse job and giving a buzz word to hire people on. If you are interested in IT and DCT and have never stood foot in a DC before then this is a good stepping stone but outside of just understanding the infrastructure of a DC that’s all that this job provides. The communication is poor with your PM’s and they make it difficult to even talk to them after your first month. In your first couple weeks be prepared to travel, they give you such short notice on traveling different parts of the US for “Training” just to ship you out and you sit around and do nothing. leads me to my next CON, you WILL do nothing if you have no work and they don’t care ether. personally i’ve always been the type to get very anxious if there’s no work and if you just like sitting around then this is a good place for you to be. my last CON and worst is they don’t keep their word, every job has people that consistently run around like a chicken with its head cut off and it’s one thing when it’s work related but another when it messes with your income, what i mean by that is they will mess up your paychecks and won’t make up for it or will make up for it two weeks later and it still won’t be right. If you like to travel, interested in DCT, and young then i suggest dipping your toe in this line of work but outside of that find another job and be careful of the common buzz words to attract people.
