Pros

So many good things to say about this company it was quite a struggle to limit to the most impactful items. * Large enough to have a tremendous impact/stake in the Data Center industry yet small enough to understand the needs of every single employee * Drives a culture of inclusion, diversity, and ensures that employees feel valued and safe * Takes an active approach to employee development at all levels * Extremely responsive and dedicated support functions (HR, Finance, Business Operations, Sales etc.) * Has perfected the art of turning soft skills (dedication, professionalism, timeliness, detail-oriented) into technical expertise. This fits their mission of military veteran placement. * Genuinely understands the perfect balance of hiring for character and potential versus strictly for experience. Focused on team dynamics throughout the entire organization Salute was my first job post-military career. I had zero experience in this industry, but they were willing to invest a significant amount of professional development because they understood that veterans are expert (and quick) learners. My transition could not have gone any better thanks to this company giving me a chance.

Cons

No cons. Literally...I love everything about this company.

Pros

Salute has provided me with an incredible opportunity to start a career in mission critical operations. As someone new to the data center industry, I've found leaders who encourage learning, answer questions, and recognize enthusiasm and work ethic. I've been trusted with meaningful responsibilities, exposed to real-world critical infrastructure, and supported in my professional growth. The company values safety, teamwork, and continuous improvement, and I've had opportunities to connect with leadership at every level.

Cons

The learning curve can be steep because of the technical nature of the work, but that's also what makes the job rewarding. New employees should be prepared to study and continuously learn.

Pros

The pay is generous. Work load is very streamlined and simple; very adaptable for various prior experiences.

Cons

The worst organization I've ever experienced. Professional standards do not exist here. Upper management and department heads do not seem fit for their role. The deficiencies in the professional mechanicisms of the company place an immenant threat to job security. The hiring, onboarding, placement, development plan, team management, and SOP's are not developed nor up to professional standard. You will be treated just as a #. Once your purpose has expired, you will be released. Your skills sets and work ethic will go unnoticed and unrewarded. The only observed advancements fit a very exclusive profile. If you are interested in growing your professional career and skill sets, this is not the place for you. If you are looking to make some quick "in-between" money, sign up and then continue looking.
