Pros

"Some" of the co-workers made the daily headache worth it, but once they leave there is no reason to stay. Also being able to work with EdgeConneX was more of a benefit than working for Salute.

Cons

Where to begin... First, they make fake promises that they don't hold up. They entice you by saying treating you like garbage, but saying "you're appreciated". They threaten to take away your lunch and breaks but then give it right back. They promote unqualified personnel over qualified personnel just because an employee spoke their mind, and hurt their feelings. They hold grudges and act like grown children. The professionalism of blaming employees about abusing overtime, then when called out about it, lying to the same employees you blamed stating you didn't do so. If I could give this company 0 stars I would. If I could take away stars away from them I could. It doesn't matter how much profit you make or how well you did in your past if your present is by far worse, if you treat your employees like utter garbage. The list could go on and on but I think you get the point. Stay away from this place if you are a veteran. You have much better options out there. They belittle you by saying you will find no other place like this, when in fact, you will find better.

Pros

Salute has provided me with an incredible opportunity to start a career in mission critical operations. As someone new to the data center industry, I've found leaders who encourage learning, answer questions, and recognize enthusiasm and work ethic. I've been trusted with meaningful responsibilities, exposed to real-world critical infrastructure, and supported in my professional growth. The company values safety, teamwork, and continuous improvement, and I've had opportunities to connect with leadership at every level.

Cons

The learning curve can be steep because of the technical nature of the work, but that's also what makes the job rewarding. New employees should be prepared to study and continuously learn.

Pros

The pay is generous. Work load is very streamlined and simple; very adaptable for various prior experiences.

Cons

The worst organization I've ever experienced. Professional standards do not exist here. Upper management and department heads do not seem fit for their role. The deficiencies in the professional mechanicisms of the company place an immenant threat to job security. The hiring, onboarding, placement, development plan, team management, and SOP's are not developed nor up to professional standard. You will be treated just as a #. Once your purpose has expired, you will be released. Your skills sets and work ethic will go unnoticed and unrewarded. The only observed advancements fit a very exclusive profile. If you are interested in growing your professional career and skill sets, this is not the place for you. If you are looking to make some quick "in-between" money, sign up and then continue looking.
