Pros

1) If you learn Korean, opportunities are unlimited. 2) Depending on your team at Samsung Electronics, you can get amazing to mediocre work. I was lucky to have worked on some amazing technologies. Some of my friends in other teams weren't that lucky. 3) Global Help Desk - great support system. 4) Top management doing everything to include foreign employees

Cons

1) Bureaucratic 2) Glass ceiling if you can't speak Korean. You will never get real responsibilities, and no quality work. It all boils down to knowing the language and culture. 3) Multicultural for namesake. International employees are made to follow Korean culture, while they are not allowed to show their culture. No cultural exchange.

Pros

Healthcare premiums are low, deductible and co pay for HSA is very high. A few very good people

Cons

Get what ever you are “promised” in writing Absolutely no leadership Only company that I have ever worked for that does not have department level P&L. Pay is exceptionally low specifically for the Boston market. Lack of accountability and ownership and no follow up resulting in fire drills and blame game on a daily basis. About half of the staff are contract/temp employees with no path to full time and are promised full time status to lead them on to stay longer. Turn over is probably about 50% which should tell you all you need to know.
