Pros

As an expat hire, Samsung pays well, the benefits are good, and in general the work-life balance is not bad (although this varies significantly between teams). Can be a fascinating experience to see how the company operates.

Cons

Samsung resembles much more a military organization than a corporate entity. Communication flows top - down, anyone under VP or even SVP has little decision making authority, middle management is not paid to think but to execute orders, and promotions are based on a persons age and political connections, not necessarily competence.

Pros

Excellent management. Smart people. I feel safe there. They take reports seriously and thoroughly investigate wrongdoing and take action to protect employees.

Cons

None. It’s the perfect employer.

Pros

I've worked at a number of companies throughout my career, but this Silicon Valley company stands out as one of the best experiences I've had professionally. From day one, the culture here is genuinely different — and in the best way possible. The team is incredibly collaborative. Whether you're working cross-functionally or within your own department, people are always willing to roll up their sleeves and help. There's no ego here — just a shared commitment to doing great work together.

Cons

No cons for now so can't say nothing
