SSI is a Korean company in Silicon Valley. There is a lot of oversight from Korea and the Korean dispatchers onsite, so it is difficult to get things done when goals change with frequent leadership changes. Very hierarchical and political. Systems are terrible. Approvals for software requests can take days to weeks and you may get an old version where you will need to unlearn any current software knowledge. If you care about your work, having accomplishments, staying current on common business software and promotions for anyone other than Korean men, look elsewhere. There are plenty of companies in Silicon Valley that are attractors of great talent, Samsung is not one of them.
