      Pros

      Higher than industry-average pay. Prior to WD acquisition, a great corporate culture. Open discussion encouraged, thanks to the Israeli influence - some may find it off-putting, but despite the loud tones, you get used to the cultural differences.

      Cons

      Since WD acquisition, benefits were slashed, they laid off many legacy SNDK people, and the culture has shifted dramatically. If SNDK was an "old" company (based on Silicon Valley interpretation) then WDC is a dinosaur.

      Pros

      Good culture and lots of younger folks working here that makes it fun. Rotation opportunities exist and make it possible to learn in many different teams.

      Cons

      There used to be excellent managers and directors who were able to mentor the teams and bring about good results. With all the attrition and lack of recognition it is not a fun place to work
