Pros
Diversity of the workforce is impressive, philanthropic commitment is excellent. Free oatmeal and coffee are a nice bennie. Company is very open about sharing company strategy and performance metrics. 2 hours free electric vehicle charging per day. Decent onsite cafeteria. Severance benefits are fairly generous.
Cons
Open cubicle environment for most workers is hell. Initiative is not especially appreciated or rewarded, despite messaging to the contrary. Management appears to care, until they fail to meet market expectations, in which case even high performing employees are instantly expendable.Hierarchical to the max. When it came time to RIF in order to recover from a failure to meet market guidance, it was older employees who were axed--even ones who'd just received great performance reviews.
