Pros
Company culture within IT have being changing for the better over the last few years, improving technology and processes. Having a great boss and coworkers makes for a great working environment and great effort has been put into making salaries competitive. Can't talk much about C-Level strategy or decision making but up to middle management I have seen great talent.
Cons
Your mileage may vary depending on the team your on. Lack of visibility into top management strategy, even shielded from middle management in some cases. Working weeks of more than 40 hours is not attractive, other companies give you better work-life balance.
