Pros
Nice benefits, decent pay. Nice colleagues, though most of them are contractors. IT was in-sourced over the last couple of years, so everyone you need is there.
Cons
No advancement. Global IT consolidation is under way and out-sourcing is back in the mix. IT is very cautious about using any new technology. Job cuts on a regular basis, especially if the company has no new products to sell. Beware - just like any other pharma.
