Great potential to make a name for yourself and establish yourself in the Santander network if you’re willing to put yourself out there. All teams are overworked, but allows autonomy and ability to manage your work on your own terms. Work-life balance is easy to maintain, vacation days are generous. If you work hard, compensation will reflect it. Management team is finally moving in the right direction, the consistency is appreciated.
Cons
Processes are long, antiquated, convoluted and ineffective - and nearly impossible to innovate. Teams often work in silos and communication can be difficult - magnified by the hierarchical nature of the Bank. Minimize turnover. Develop products even employees want to use.
