Pros
I have had many opportunities at Santander that probably would not have been available to me elsewhere. The people working for Santander are (on the whole) warm, friendly and genuinely want to do their best.
Cons
Discrimination (when it does occur, albeit rarely) isn't take seriously. Senior management are often unwilling to invest in staff, and when staff make suggestions about improvements it is often left to the person suggesting ideas to implement them (without support). Your job role can change significantly over the years, meaning the job you start off in might not be the same 2-3 years down the line. Experienced and capable staff are often the first to leave.
