Bonus can be really high

Not enough paid off holidays

Commission, time off, very easy job, a few very kind people.

Challenging position to be in (in my opinion) between high paying customers and management/ownership not caring to help the tenants in serious and impacting situations such as major leaks. A lot of red tape ,"fair housing" as an excuse of why you can't treat people with basic dignity but that may be more the industry. Upper management (RM+) treats their employees poorly, words and actions do not match, very passive behavior. Many discussions about growth and career advancement opportunities, completing training, proving ability, and when opportunities arise they hire external or offer you a position that is in a way different part of town or a run down property. They almost want to haze you to grow professionally, not at all dependent on capabilities, achievements or merit. They demote well performing employees, and shamelessly beg others to stay. Management unevenly expresses negative feedback regardless of achievements of goals. Moving targets for commission and bonus payouts. Painfully fake regional manager who is completely egotistical and seemingly too important to engage with employees on a human level unless you are going to quit then she is all up in your business. Lots of drama, and people many of the employees are wildly unprofessional. There were a few great people but they were rare. I cared about growing professionally, doing a good job, and treating people well and that was not valued.
